Mia Rosenthal was awarded a 2014 Leonore Annenberg Fellowship Fund Grant for the Performing and Visual Arts and a 2015 fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center. She received her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia and her BFA from Parsons School of Design in New York. Her drawings are included in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Arkansas Arts Center as well as numerous private collections.
Rosenthal’s recent exhibitions include Mia Rosenthal: Paper Lens at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, a little bit everyday at Gallery Joe, 12th National Drawing Invitational: Outside the Lines, Arkansas Arts Center, Little Rock, AR, Drawn to Nature at the Glyndor Gallery, Wave Hill, Bronx, NY, and Here and Now: Prints, Drawings and Photographs by 10 Philadelphia Artists at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Mia Rosenthal lives and works in Philadelphia.
